Announcements:

Thank you to all the families who were able to join us for Student-Led Conferences. If you were unable to attend, please discuss the following tasks with your student:

Humanities: Turtle Island Interview project, Slide Show Essay (in their google drive to share with you)

Science: Insulated House project - their assessed work should have come home with them yesterday. 

Math: Play one of the dice games published under the Math-Tasks tab.

Next week is Spring Break.  Classes resume Monday, April 1st.

Homework:

Science: The "Structures Around the World" journal pages are due Monday, April 1st.  The assignment and supporting notes are under the Science Tab.

Math: Try some of the math games with your family (under Math-Tasks).  If you don't have dice, you can sub in playing cards!

Homework:
-In Science we are working on a "Structures Around the World" Task.  Students have time in class today, tomorrow and Wednesday. The finished assignment is due after Spring Break.  There are 4 pages to finish.

-Several students have missing work, check powerschool for details
-Math: The two Expression pages (front and back of both) are due Monday, Mar. 18th.  You can find links to the pages under Math-Tasks.
-In Science, we have been taking notes on structure type and we are starting a small project called "Structures Around the World".  You could review the notes this weekend.  A copy of the notes and the project description will be up on the blog under the Science tab.

Science 
-The write-up for the "Baking Sheet Article" is due Monday.  There is a link to the article under the Science tab.
-If there are any parts of your Insulated House project that are not finished handed-in yet, please bring them on Monday.

Finish the 10 Perimeter & Area algebra word problems. The questions are under the Math Tasks tab.
To practice your algebra skills there are 6 links under Math Resources to try.
Science: Your insulated house is due Monday.  We will begin testing next week.  If you need any of the resources, they are under the Science tab.
